Summer Sampler Series

Welcome to the Summer Sampler Series, co-hosted the summer of 2011 by myself, Faith at Fresh Lemons, and Lee at Freshly Pieced.

Fabric Requirements: This sampler works well in solids, using a single line, or scrappy. There are 12 blocks measuring 12.5 inches (unfinished). We recommend 3 yards of printed fabric and 2 yards of solids, more or less depending on how you decide to sash the quilt. 

Quilting Basics:
There are many helpful online tutorials for beginning quilters--Elizabeth Hartman of Oh Fransson! has a great series here: Quilt Making Basics.
