You may have noticed a flurry of blog activity, but not much sewing actually taking place. Yep, sometimes that happens. I've been sick. We have had company. The weather has been gorgeous. I cannot sit inside while it is 65. In January (and now February!). In Virginia! Project: Fit into my jeans has been moving along, as has Project: Clean my house. Down to the nitty gritty stuff (um, like my corner of the living room currently COVERED in WIP projects).Good news. A finish, though not technically mine! My sister finished binding the quilt she pieced while she was here.. has to be some sort of record! For the record, I think she picked the perfect binding out of my stash. Maybe we will make her a quilter yet. She makes her own dresses, mostly without patterns. THAT is impressive! Thanks for the iphone pic, Em!
Another finish! A cute ballet bag for one of my favorite little friends, that somehow didn't get the corner's boxed. Perhaps I did it on purpose? I made it for Christmas and well, it was just delivered :)
And now for my WIP projects? This week I hope to get my do.Good Stitches quilt quilted. But then that requires mopping my kitchen floor. :) And maybe work on a quilt for my husband (hopefully he isn't reading this. This particular quilt has been in progress for 18 months... and is so old I doubt anyone has even seen it/remember seeing it before, unless you have been at the DC Modern meetings where I have agonized over it!)
Finally--today is the start of the Simply Charmed Blog Hop. A Valentine's Day-ish tutorial every day for almost 2 weeks! Head over to Melissa's to see her apron tutorial (and to comment on her post--the grand prize winner of a $200 gift certificate will be chosen from those comments!) Happy Wednesday, everyone.

Hope you are feeling better.....things will get done.
