Coming to Stillness

Pilates is something new for me in 2012; Pilates requires concentration, precision, balance, strength--all things that I would like to incorporate into my life. Part of Pilates is the instruction to "come to stillness."  I'm sure it will shock no one reading this that coming to stillness isn't something I'm particularly good at. But I'm trying.

  6. I'm not good with stillness, but I love Pilates. I've been attending classes regularly for 9 years. It has changed my posture, breathing, strength and pretty much everything else. Yes it's hard, but it's so worth it!
