We cancelled the DC Modern Meeting this morning due to ice in DC near the meeting place--we hope to reschedule for next week. I decided something good needed to come from the icy storm, so I took a picture of a flannel/voile quilt for my newest niece, A. (I made this one for my niece, L for Christmas. The one for A got lost in the Christmas hubbub. Oops. At least it was found and sent on it's way!) Isn't the fabric lovely? Note: Last time, I did rounded corners + bias binding like Anna Maria Horner suggests. This time, I did mitered corners + straight grain binding. I like it a lot better this way.

Pretty, glad you found it!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. We had a ice storm here in Washington also. No fun.
ReplyDeleteThe fenders really highlight the whitewall tires as well, yet another feature that makes it one of the flashiest and fun-looking cruisers around Affordable Cruiser Bicycle.
