So far, 2012 has been the week of the flu at our house. I'm ready to be done with all of this, thank you very much. I've been sketching quilts on the couch while watching Blue's Clues, The Cat and the Hat, Kung Fu Panda 2, you know, fun times. I've also seen more quilt alongs pop up than I could ever start (and finish), but I thought you might be interested in joining one. Quilt alongs are a lot of fun--stitch along with other people, share your progress, get feedback, have someone else figure out the quilt math for you--what's not to love? The Swoon-along with Katy at I'm A Ginger Monkey
(I have a pile of Neptune fabric for a bed size quilt, and this pattern is calling my name! Although this clearly fits into the "oh no, not another quilt!" category, it also fits into the "we are still using the same ikea quilt we bought when we moved here and I think it's time for a change" category. So, I'm in!)

Sparkle Punch Quilt Along with Elizabeth at Oh Fransson
Made in Cherry Quilt Along with Pins and Bobbins
(See above) This was my favorite quilt at fall quilt market, I think. I might just have to sew along, at some point.

ReplyDeleteAt the end of the year, we'll have a lap quilt made with 20 different blocks, and we'll all be that much smarter! :)
