Happenings

Do you have weeks where it seems you are going a million miles a minute but not getting much done? Or rather, lots of good and fun things get done, but your "real life" to do list is threatening to explode? Yep. I'm in the middle of six weeks worth of that. But the end is in sight, I hope.  And it has been such a nice, if frenetic, six weeks.

Lately, we have been playing in the leaves. Not napping (so says the 2 year old). Enjoying pictures of our new baby cousin. Missing family. Visiting family. Spending hours at the park in the near perfect weather. Finding lost library books. Cleaning sewing areas (and finding thank you cards from my son's birthday party, 6 weeks ago. Oops). Doing laundry. Taking care of sick kids. Driving 15 miles to buy Best Press because I forgot to get it on Amazon and I need it today, not in 2 days. You know, the usual.

But if I had time today, I would pull all of the blues from this stack of fabric by Malka Dubrawsky and stitch away. It is lovely, and the color of the sky today. And what my mother in law calls Katie Blue--my favorite color!

I can't say that my fav colour is green without clarifying that I mean only certain shades of green...my friends know the good ones
