This year, I thought it would be fun to have a 100 Quilts for Kids "Reader's Choice" contest. Let me tell you, it is hard to pick just ten favorites out of 184 beautiful quilts! And I'm sure the ones I picked last night might be different than the ones you would pick this morning, there are so many beautiful quilts! The winner of the popular vote will win a $40 Gift Certificate to Marmalade Fabrics and a fabulous Empty Bobbin Sewing Studios Pattern. So, check out these ten quilts. There is a poll in my sidebar--vote (1 time) for your favorite. I'll leave the poll open until Friday, October 21 at 8pm (ish) ET. Thanks! P.S. If you have a favorite quilt not on the list, leave a comment with a link!

Hi Kate
ReplyDeleteJust thought I should let you know that the link to #10 doesn't take you straight to the quilt, I think I found it in her photo stream, but to be fair to her it probably needs to be a clearer link. If it's the pieced circles on an aqua background I think it'll get my vote, but probably needs clarifying.
Yes, i'm having same problem.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. Flickr wasn't working last night very well. Problem fixed!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, all of these are super fabulous! It is super hard to pick but If you twisted my arm I would pick #8.
ReplyDeleteI know it's early and I'm still a little slow this morning, but I had a hard time figuring out how to "click through" and vote - totally missed the poll on the right hand side of your blog until I tried clicking through several times! Oh well, no harm no foul, I've figured it out now!!
ReplyDeleteIt took me a minute, too, Sarah -- I found it because I read your comment, actually!
ReplyDeleteI love #10.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a hard choice!
ReplyDeleteP.S. The link for #1 goes to the picture of #6.
ReplyDeleteOh man! I havent been by my computer all day. Flickr was having issues last night. So was I. The poll is in my side bar. So, you have to "click through" from google reader to see it. I'll make sure to fix everything when I get home. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteSome favourites of mine include ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/hoosiertoni/6194289819/in/pool-1728868@N23/ and http://www.flickr.com/photos/64907593@N05/5970595643/in/pool-1728868@N23/
ReplyDeleteI vote for #10!
ReplyDeleteI've voted! Everything seems to be working!!
ReplyDeleteyou're right ... #5 is pretty darn good. offset like the wonky star, this pattern is eyecatching with it's bright colors.
ReplyDeleteKate! I've been so out of the blogging loop for so long - I totally missed that you were doing this again. I love it! I hope that I can get my act together and participate next time!
ReplyDeleteI was so happy to meet you in person! I hope that when I come north that you and me and Kim can get together! That would be a blast!
I like #10, but for a kids quilt I love #5! It is fun and colorful and very eye catching.
