Stacks

My least favorite part of the quilting progress is basting my quilts. I tend to let the quilt tops stack up for a while before getting to them. I finished piecing two quilt backs today and decided to have a basting party tonight--at least I will be in the company of friends.  I'll let you know how it goes...

  1. I'm not fond of the basting part either - I've often wished that a "basting fairy" would come visit my house!

  2. oh, I am so with you there! That's my favorite part of sending a quilt out to be quilted - I don't have to baste! icky!

  3. I've got a stack, too! Sometimes things get sent to the long arm quilter just because I don't want to crawl around on the floor!
